Lesson Learned.

Hey hey~~

I hope everyone has been keeping warm in this cold dark weather...(today was unusally sunny)..
but weather forcast calls for rain almost all this week!

and unusually warm weather this week! Is this..the Indian Summer O.oa?

Anyways...this week has been thus far A-OK!!
Yesterday I was driving home waiting to do a left turn and when the left-turn green advance light came on the car in front and I (behind them) started driving BUT we had to quickly press the break BECAUSE the car coming from opposite direction going straight RAN A RED light! Literally...
I guess he didn't realize that the light was still RED..colour-blind folk. this is why accidents happen
-_- PAY attention people!!!!

Anyways yesterday I also raked some leaves (today I looked and it looked as if I didn't do anything..ALL MY WORK!! Took so much effort..My hands were shaking by the end of it...and I only did the front yard =(...) My yard is BIG...and there were so many leaves..but my pile seems to have blown off in the wind cus I didn't bag it..=( couldn't find a bag...Here is my hard work in progress though!!

Raking with my hard strong arms!!

This is my final pile! Look How TALL it is!

and then compare the size from top to bottom!

OK trust me..it was a lot bigger. PIctures turn out a lot smaller..anyways..the next day I was in so much pain..I thought my left back muscle would rip off!!! (ew..O.o)...lol? FALL is definately here!
A lot of pretty coloured leaves have actually all fallen now..We had this frost weather last week..? 2 wks ago? Anyways...the trees all got suddenly cold and the leaves started falling off super fast!
hAHAH..

SoooOoooOOO...today I found out I was a EMPLOYEE! (technically hired..although I don't do anything)...That is why I am under a union CUPE!..I actually thought it was cus I went to school but its cus i'm 'technically' working...as a GA (Graduate Assistant)..harhar...
I found out cus OK I was flipping through the insurance package and it states that the benefit dates start January 1-Decemeber 31...but that didn't make sense! My school starts September- April..So I assumed it was covered from Sept-April..but when I called them they said that because I am an employee I get the full covered from Sept-Dec (although technically Jan-Dec) and then in January it resets again!! O.o WOH? So now that means I gotta pay a visit to the dentist and my eye doctor BEFORE January...and also suddenly I have $2000 to use for my massages until Decemeber!!

I calculate and my normal massages are 50 minutes...in order to use it all up..I basically have to go get a massage twice a week upgrading to 80 minute massages PLUS I get 4 additional foot exfoliants!
=D!! Can't complain! Oh, I didn't know there were all these privileges of being a Master's student! I tried asking if I could do couple's massages (theyre double the price) and be charged under my insurance (might as well share when you've got the abundance!) but...they said the bill will be charged separately =(!!! only my massage will be covered under the insurance (why is it called the couple's massage then if you have to pay separately!!)

-->I also found out I have the same coverage for anyone working in the University. So basically, I am getting the same insurance as my Professors..I know what goodies professors recieve now..lol

Today's massage I went and took a quick picture of the mat heater that heats my back and feet and the therapist is massaging! It's kinda dark but here -->
See that folded thing up? If you look closely, theres a cord attached to it and that's what heats me up!
If I don't use up all my twice a week massages (probably will skip certain weeks e.g- period!!) then I'll probably try to hot stone massages (which is a bit more expensive)...but I'm not sure i'll like it..massages with stones? that sounds weird. LOL...

Today I got Janna again..=) I actually booked today..I wanted to book at 7pm thinking the traffic will have lessened but they said after 7pm only males will be available and I feel kinda awkward as it is with woman...O.o So i told them I wanted female..so they bumped me upto 6pm. Janna is good with relaxation. she does my whole body and stretches my body and gives me homework (stretching at home) =) I really enjoy that it goes outside of the place too..

I ate a little bit before I left and the food made me really thirsty (Ill show you what I cooked earlier today) so I drank two cups of water right before I left...and althought I peed before I left toooo OMGish near the end of the massage I had to pee soooo badddddd I was literally about to stop her and say 'ok I gotta pee..you can go lol'...DO NOT drink before you go into massages..and seeing that my massages minutes are upping by another half hr I better remind myself this! LOL...

Awkward moment: When she's massaging my legs..and it makes me think of how hairy I am HAHAHHAHAHAHAH -..-;;;; WHO shaves in the winter! Good thing it was dim...although I don't think it was DIM ENOUGH! But...must concentrate on relaxing! HAHAHHA...such a loser --;;;

Today's Recipe! My version of Jambalaya...

SORRY it turned to more like jook aka 'congee' style because #1: I didn't think the rice would cook SOOO FAST (My first time cooking Jasmine Rice!) and #2: Jasmine Rice fluffs up SOOO much and SUCKS up the entire batch of my chicken stock!! I promise it'll turn out better next time!

Main Ingredients:
-1 Bay leaf (although I like bay leaves so I put two)
-Recipe calls for andouille sausages  I put Italian Spicy Sausages
-Chicken Broth (I added water even though it says you don't need to cus my Jasmine rice Sucked the living thing out of it!)
-Pepper/Salt to taste
-Butter and Garlic (to cook sausages in)
-Onions, Mushrooms, Red Peppers, tomatoes (didn't saute the tomatoes)
-A little bit of Tomato Sauce
-Olive oil (to cook vegetables)

This is what I used for spice...Actually I forgot to add in the garlic bits from the top left corner and ended up using fresh garlic..which is fine...This recipe is actually to make Tikki Masala as you can see..but it had the ingredients I needed (Cumin and Paprika)
If I bought em separately..each container would cost $3-$4 (hENCE $6-8)
but if I buy this container its $2... I figured..how many times will I make this O.oa..
we'll see...we'll see. hahah.

So here:
I cooked the beef first in butter (drained fat)...added the vegetables and sauted everything in olive oil
meanwhile in a pot I was cooking my Jasmine rice that cooked SUPER fast!

I added the ingredients into the rice (including all spices) and added the Bay leaf..
but unfortunately because the Jasmine Rice was basically cooked it started...well..overcooking while I was trying to mix in all the flavours.

Here's a close up of the final product.
Sorry! It turned out food for our grandparents!
But trust me the taste is fine!!! hahah..
next time I'll do better ;)

My 2nd Massage!

Hey hey~
Not too much going on today

The weather itself was superbly cold. Lately the weather's been dipping down..Quebec has already recieved it's share of snow....apparently it snowed more this morning! Too early!! Halloween hasn't even passed yet :s

well..not here...as of yet..but the leaves are changing colour and I wanted to share em with you.
I took a picture of my backyard cus no one has had the chance to rake the leaves yet and I thought it was a pretty sight
Sorry I didn't realize the twig was in the way but it looks like colourful pieces of paper crumpled and scattered across the grass. Grass is still green ;) <3 C'est belle!

Day2 of massage therapy =)
Today was a very different experience from my first!

Anyways, so I went in today and remembered to take a picture of thee room~!
For those of you who have never been to a massage and would like to know the atmosphere:
Nothing special. But on the upper right corner there is this steamer (I think) and basically when you go in and lay down they put it on ur body to warm you up. The great thing with this massage therapist was that I was freezing when I came in and she turned the heater mat and put it where my tummy would've been and it warmed up my tummy! and then later when she was working on my upper body she moved it to warm my feet (my feet were freezing too!)

I noticed that Janna was a lot more whole-body focused...on relaxation. Whereas Jasmine was focusing more on getting those knots out. Janna worked on my legs a lot too and she was a lot softer...didn't really hurt at all..except random points she pointed out and she has this putting pressure on certain areas that are painful and then 'does this hurt? is this better? tell me when the hurting goes away' a TON of times. Overall very friendly. She talked more and communicated with me. It was actually a little bit more comfortable with her..maybe cus she was older? not sure...
she also did the neck stretching thing and arm stretching thing...I didn't know massage therapists did that..hrmm..but after. it felt good. =) Possibly it is my psuedo mind persuading me... I enjoyed it...The only thing I liked Jasmine more was that at the end she also did the heat wet towel thing on my body to wipe up the massage oil and then dried my body but with Janna she only provided the dry towel and I had to do it myself. so...

BUT great thing about Janna was that she gave me some tips on how to stay well throughout the week. She knew that I was a student so every hr she recommended that I stretch my neck from studying. She also noted that I should stretch my lower back when I get up (tucking my body and touching chin) which was very helpful. I will try that out!

Tadahhh!
After she told me she gave me a waterbottle and told me to stay hydrated. Blue water bottle is cool and I am a fan of spring water!

And I also became a member of the Hand & Stone Spa and Massage LOL...--a? I thought I'd try it out. It's about $20 cheaper every visit if I become a member than if I wasn't one. lol. The catch is that I have to visit at least 1 time a month and recieve a massage otherwise they will charge me even if I don't go. But I figured I will probably go every other week (or two times a month) so I might as well become a member. And if I am going to quit, I have to tell them 30 days in advance. hrmm.. I'll have to figure out when my plan expires LOL. *NOte to self: Call SunLife.

This is the closest massage place to my house and so far I am pretty satisfied with it =).

Oh did I mention? The presentation I did last week? (the one I stressed more than I should have?) I recieved a A-! Yay! I wish the minus disappeared but still very much happy!

And I heard a someone else recieved a part of their mid-term mark...ahem a boyfriend has just noted that he has recieved the same mark for his BioChem exam =) Very proud! Happy happy! Congrats and don't party too much this weekend even if your midterms are done~!

Working on my next paper on the same class! Hearts~

post script: I am tres happy that Gossip Girl is back on! OMGish Serena's dress is to DIE-for.
<3 j'adore times a hundred. the fashion in that show is the only reason u need to keep on watching!
And the back of it has this sheer white thin lace..so pretty <3 Loved her dress by far. Very well done!

Short blog today SO I shall add some more past vacation pictures! EnJOY

Here is me finding a conch

We found a lime tree. Ever wondered what a lime tree looks life? I've never seen one but we were walking to eat one day and came across this tree and when we dissected the fruit it turned out to be a lime! AWESOME?

We drove up the mountain to see this rare view. Astonishing! This is St.Georg'es harbour

I couldn't find another picture..I will upload more later. but I'm trying to dry my feet. We visited the Annandale Falls LINK:

This is another beautiful beach that I totally miss <3 <3 Look at the colour of the waters...
Absoluately beautiful. the scenery! It looks like out of a book..
It's super salty though...you can feel it in your mouth and up your nose..not very pleasant LOL

<3 Happy smiles

Thanksgiving blastoff!

Good afternoon everyone!!

A slow start to the morning =D! It's actually after noon (12:48pm) so technically I should be up and about by now but my morning starts slow today ;)

Not too much but man I hope everyone has had an amazing thanksgiving (to those Canadians...American thanksgiving is next month!) =) I have gained 5 pounds...literally in the duration of the weekend O.o and I have brought home some leftover foods!

My late breakfast consisted of leftover Afghanistan bread from my church thanksgiving dinner (spread with Nutmeg jam I brought home from Grenada) avec milk and hard-boiled egg =)

A filling breakfast and a slow start to the morning!
-----------------------------------------------------------

On Saturday morning I woke up and tutored =) I tutor a Gr.12 student who is developmentally delayed (hence like the word developments are delayed in comparison to how a child normally develops) and after I went to buy some ingredients for my potluck (On holidays my church usually gets together and for this thanksgiving we are getting together for some dinner and fellowship!)
There is a Walmart close to the student's house so I went there only to find out that their Walmart isn't a SUPERCENTRE and hence didn't sell any foods -_-;;; so since I was already there it's attached to a mall I decided to do some eye browsing ;) aka shopping! Here are some snags =D! (enlarged pic)

So I ended up getting 2 tshirts, a dress and a hoodie

Top Left: (GAP) I got this tshirt cus it was kind of Toronto represent..these days sometimes it's hard to find a shirt like that O.o and it had the skyline of Toronto with the CNTower in it which I thought was cool
Middle Left: (Forever21) I just had to get this sweater cus it was just awesome. They didn't have sizes (only Larges) but I thought I'd just wear em baggy anyways. I love the message they convey: PRAY...there is great power in it..it's a reminder for me to continuously pray throughout..for..there is awesomeness and great power.
Bottom Left: (GAP) I guess Gap has partnered up with Threadless (From what I know...Threadless is an online company where people can design their own shirts adn if it has enough votes you can get sell it online) and this shirt was just cute. You can fill your own things to make a msg. haha. It's a loose fit but the V-neck I thought showed my collarbone nicely =)
Right: (Costa Blanca) This dress didn't actually turn out nicely in the picture. you must be wearing it. haha. Costa Blanca was having this huge sale so I went in and got this snag =D! It's actually shorter at the front and longer at the back (this year's trend) and I thought it would be a nice summer dress to wear (and if I ever visit Grenada again! fingers crossed!!) I can take that dress with me +D!

After my mini shopping spree (I swear I haven't shopped in a super long time and I have been shopping deprived!!) I went and got ready! It was definately a cold night. On the way home it was spitting a little but when I got home I checked the weather and it said it was cloudy skies NO RAIN the entire evening through until the morning!! So I dressed up:

Sorry...I didn't take a picture of my clothing inside. This is my awesomely treasured trench coat..it has a double lining on the inside for warmth so it is actually quite warm (which is removeable) but the only con is that the belt is a hassle. LOL. I got this when I went to the states in New York. They have this Huge outlet mall and every imaginable store there. =) It's Burberry but it's definately cheaper than the stores here =). Every girl must own one classic Burberry trench coat. That's what theyre known for!
I went and got ready. On the way...it started rainning AGAIN unfortunately. My poor coat (though waterproof) got rained on. =(. I try to keep it super nice. booerns.
Here is the location. It's called Il Fornello. My first time..Actually my friend Tween (whom I NEVER meet up with but randomly one day she called and wanted to go out with me! good surprise though!) and I were discussing where we should eat and she's a terrible chooser so I literally went on Google and thought of places that would have restuarants located...and went on Google map and browsed around the restaurants that are mapped and looked through reviews. This place is actually not superbly off the limits in terms of my budget ($15-20 for a white restaurant...not bad)
Here's the link for the menu:
 http://www.ilfornello.com/menus/rhdinner.pdf
I would like to take my bf there. I didn't get it but they have fried calarmari as one of the appetizers and he loves them so I'll try it with him when he comes back. =) We are on destination look-out for the best calarmari restaurants..so far. it seems Marlowe is winning ;) We shall have to try here next time..
Here's what I had: PENNE CAPRI: $18 grilled chicken, mushrooms, spinach, cherry tomatoes, white wine, garlic, grana padano

except I changed it to Tomato sauce cus I wanted something with sauce..this is more dry with oil kind of base...It was good. I liked it a lot. They give you gratitue bread as appetizers..I love the whipped butter (oh to die for!) but the bread itself wasnt warm which kinda was a small disappointment. oh well!VERY filling and LOTS of pasta (although the cheese is like sprinkled a little on top..)...I took it as my lunch the next day ;)  YUM! It's making me hungry again!

Then on Sunday lunch..my church had this huge Thanksgiving feast that I totally forgot to take a picture of cus I was busy eating like a beaver =(. The elders there prepared a TON of korean food and  some white food too with chicken that somehow tasted like turkey!..it was amazing..I came home super filled adn then BOOM evening comes and I went out for my Thanksgiving dinner with my family! Good thing for my fast digestion I was ready for another meal!! =D! but unfortunately and i regret it LOTS =*( my phone died and I left it charging! I wish you could've seen the food I ate...oh it was to die for...ugh! Sorry..but I was super ready on Monday evening to prepare for the potluck at my church! I brought my camera DON't WORRY! Here are some of things you missed out on ;)
So in Potluck..what happens is is that everyone brings a dish of their own..I decided to make stir-fry vegetables that I also happened to bake when I sprinkled it with cheese:

So basically I stir-fried the vegetables (i added random potato in)
Minced onion and garlic for flavour + a Chunk of butter
Drizzled cheese on top and baked it
(The bottom part sans cheese is for the lactose intolerants)

Here is our massive food: CLOCKWISE from top left
-Pasta
-cucumber/corn salad
-Lasagna
-Philipino sausage..(they look like taiwanese sausages)
-More pasta
-Ddukbokki (korean dish consisting of rice cake, beef and assortment of vegetables)
-my vegetables
-some warm yummy Pakistan naan
-potato and ham
Middle from Left:
-Mook (Korean cucumber jello-style soysauce thing..its GOOD!)
-Curry chicken
-Shepherd's pie

Here are some of it's individuals:
The best: Ars' curry chicken YUM. it's my favourite to die for!! I love ittttt!!!.
LOOK at that! I brought alittle leftover. He made it with him mom! So good!!
Here is the ddukbokki: Korean dish..It's usually made spicy..but she made it sweet. I loveeee ricecake!

The lasagna that Andrew made! YUM! This leftover lunch is awaiting for me after my Blog post

Potatoes adn Ham bought from METRO! Looks tasty eh?

This is the MOOK: It's terrible hard to explain what it's made from. It has a jello texture but trust me it's really good and it's healthy for you cus I think it's made from like grinded potato to powder or something...

and here is my plateful of everything combines ;)
actually I took this picture after 5 bites of food. =(. LOL but it still looks GOOD!

And for the finale~ Robert made awesome dessert!!!!
This actually turned out better than the other dessert (the other one was a teeny bit burnt and my tastebuds are SUPER sensitive with burnt stuff!! it's not my fault!)
It's a heartattack but it was GOOD!
Brownie on top with oreo cookies sandwiched in between and cookie dough layer at bottom!!!
SO DELISH

This is really good too!
It's drizzled on white and caramel pudding on top of brownie bits under the brownie haha. it was really good overal.. =) He's a good baker.
A delicious overall weekend.

Like I said ;) I gained 5 pounds over the weekend

A great and very filling thanksgiving overall!
Happy smiles~ Back to schooL!!

bonjour ;) I have sooOOooo much to catch up on!

Hey Hey~

I am lagging on the blogging aren't I?
I have been super out of it lately..super streesed for NOTHING O.o..well not nothing but just..overly stressed. Yesterday I had my first presentation fo the year and I was super nervous! I was superbly nervous that on Wednesday I was working on my presentation and was so consumed by it that when it was time for class I rushed over and I ended up going to the my thursday class that I had the presentation for! And it so coincidently happens that the room I crashed in on was the class that my supervisor was teaching...She looked up and you could totally tell there was wth...? face. LOL

I think it went ok =)...I hope so..worth 25% of my mark. ;) We even served cookies and some coffee for the presentation (brownie points!)...I honestly think it is a education thing..In all my education classes whenever there is a presentation (even for my AQ aka additional qualification courses for ed) there is always food..
education people really enjoy food. lol...btw those giant box of coffee for a group? only $19 including tax @ Starbucks =)...my group member even prepared these delicious cookies.
HAHA get it? cus my class is: 2nd language teaching so these are all the phonetic letters. LOL I don't even know how to pronounce half of them (I only took 1st year linguistics and it was MAD hard!!)

Since Ive been lagging on the blogging I have been taking more pictures though adn have been recording my life lately...so I will share em with you..be PATIENT!

OKAY I totally have been out of posting my outfits too =). Sooo. here's outfit #1. actually this was like last week some time...my family wanted to go out for some yummy celebration..I think my brother wanted some family time (ironic given the fact that he's always ditching on family dinners during bdays) so....
Sweater: Lacoste
Top: Gap white tank
Yoga Pants: Abercrombie

Look at the delish food!
sooo....in korean restuarants they give you like a million and one side dishes to eat with your main..
I tried to stretch my fingers as much as possible in order to include all my food..but fail.
We ordered BBQ duck to cook (as you can see it's still raw) then we ordered pork cutlet (right bottom corner) and tofu soup (which is in that left black stone bowl). the rest are things that either go inside the lettuce wrap (main is of course duck) OR they are side dishes...=)
It was YUMs..except my mom wasn't feeling well that day so my brother daddy and me ate everything HAHA....what comes after with the duck dish is this soup. so basically they took the bones of the duck and made it a base and cooked up soup in it..and then they add vegetables and noodles adn they give it to you after..but there was so much food that we took it to go. =)
the place is called (lol): Piggy's resturant...if any of you have tried it the literal translation is actually 'Piggy Piggy" but I guess they trunkated the 2nd Piggy. Har.

Some time last week was a BEAUTIFULly weathered day:
This is taken from my backyard. HELLO? It was sooo warm you could totally wear shorts and a tshirt =D! The sun was shining brilliantly I had to take a picture (sorry the pic is sideways)
and I decided to cook some PASTA once again lol

Look at my backyard! They've got tomatoes growing! I definately had to pick em!

Awesome organic tomatoes growing in my backyard!
SUPER fresh and directly off the stem!
All it recieves is water and look how big it grew!

These I ate em as snacks..I didn't throw them into my pasta but I just popped the cherry tomatoes.
Brilliantly red and ready to eat. SLURP?!

I took the tomato from my backyard and sliced them up ready for eating!

Used the rest of the mainara sauce from last time...

sliced up a bunch of vegetables!I also found spicy peppers (not the bell) on the right top and sliced them up for some BAM! in your mouth ;)
For the mushroom if you didn't know you need to PEEL them..they peel easily with a simple knife which is great. I also slice a tip of the stem too..you don't need to but I find it a little bruised or some dirt after I wash so I trim it a little.

boiling lots of delish noodles..if you look closely you can tell that there are spiral noodles harhar
This is just with the sauce..

after the noodles are ready I usually mix it in with the sauce in the pan and then cook it for a few minutes just to let the sauce seep into the noodles =)

Here's a bite. I've also added marble cheese and let it melt. YUMS! Making me HUNGRY!
Oh I forgot..I also added some ham for protein...no meat so i found some ham and diced them up

Then...with Canadian weather it suddenly became...COLD
Scarf: some Indian store downtown
Long sleeve top: GAP
Yoga Pants: Lululemon
Wrap: Banana Republic

So I borrowed my mommy's wrap...and it's suppose to have drawstrings for you to tie around your waiste but I couldn't find them..and the terrible thing was that it was 5% rabbit fur which i DID not know! and if you have clothing that has part animal DO NOT wear yoga pants with it cus it's going to smear all over and fly around...the wrap looks good adn it's quite warm but I honestly think I was allergic to the clothing -_-. my nose was so irritated the entire day!
and when I got home my poor pants had to go through some tape operation (Use tape and tape the entire half of my pants until the fur is all off)

And one day while checking the school email I found what I thought was volunteer work $24/hr for 4 hrs/day! So i thought what jolly great $$ and surely signed up =D I was super excited to work! So basically for my school I'm part of a CUPE union because I'm GA (Graduate Assistant) and so it was election time for the cupe and I decided to volunteer for the table...

So basically I sit here and when people want to come vote for CUPE elections I cross their name off and give them a ballet and they go and vote behind that white square bristle board. lol
anyways...it turns out theres a REASOn why they call it volunteer -_-;;; It's actually $25/4hrs/day. I only found out like on the last day when the guy I was volunteering with told me..I didn't even believe him at first that I went on the website to check  -_- UGH! well..i did catch up on Pretty Little Liars (a mystery show that I'm kinda scared of but is captivating to watch..and they have good fashion ;D!)

Yesterday was acutally pretty warm so I wore this:
Scarf: Some indian store downtown
Lace Tank: Aritzia
Sweater: Banana Republic
Tights: GAP
Socks: Roots
I took a picture of my tank close up cus it's difficult to see with the smaller picture. You can see the lace designs a lot better..For some reason I'm really into lacy stuff. =) I love the intricate designs they have!

So...on the way out of my house it's funny cus I found this! har har:

the funny thing is this is all over my front yard! who scattered poisonous mushrms seeds on my front yard! It's kinda cool how big it became. I put my hand in there to show you the size. they're actually quite large. if I didn't look at the thin stems I would've guessed they look liek the mushrooms we eat! haha. funny. I thought they were marvelous! I've got mushrms growing in my front yard!

acck..I can't figure out how to turn this picture :s
But fall is definately coming! I'm super excited! I love when leaves are scattered on the ground!

Such a pretty sight. Reminds me of my childhood days when my friends and I would be walking home and we'd see all these leaves and we'd gather all the leaves together and jump in them and throw them at each other..mind you it wasn't that clean..and a lot of them were wet and gross hahaha. but it was still fun.The small leaves are falling down already (a lot faster than the maple leaves or the wide ones..those are still in process of changing colours). These leaves are cute!

The past month I've been leaving my hands free of lacquer...but after my presentation yesterday I decided to take the time to prep up. So..my new method has been do one hand the first day and another the day after...otherwise I get super impatient and while the one hand is still in the process of drying I try to do my other hand and end up ruining my original hand. Here's how they turned out =)

Originally I was going to do a halloween colour theme but then I realized my oranges are more reddish so I just went with the Grey/pink theme. =)
I actually wanted the braid nail on my middle and ring finger but it was just taking wayyy too long so I decided to just do it on one finger haha. and then I like to mix up my designs...otherwise it gets boring ;) but i try to stay within the same colour theme =) cute?
I'm telling you..GOOD tape is your best friend for nail designs..
*NOte to self: I need better tape -_-;;;

and my FINAL post is a book that my urban education professor brought out:
She passed the book around for us to see and I thought I'd share a few of my favourites
I love these kind of picture humour.
I wanted to credit the author so...this is MY TORONTO

J'adoreeeee this picture..I enlarged it incase you wanted to look for your language. You can see that this is actually the outline of Toronto..you can see the CNTower as well..but then it literally shows how Toronto is made up of multiculturalism. Peopel of all over the world! I can't see my language ;) 토론토 <-- Toronto Can you spot this?

If you see this: Yorkville is where all the rich people reside. It has all the name brands to non-brands from Gucci - Louis Vuitton - Burberry - HnM - Nike etc. So on the left side...it shows the riches of richh and then the timeline of history shows that it hasn't always been that way...it actually used to be crummy...hahha

This is cute..in the past (before my birth) the lakeview could be seen from all over. Now with the giant skyscrapers everywhere...the lakview has actually...disappeared LOL

Anyone been to Pacific Mall aka Pmall? HAHAHA. It's literally like...CHINA. One would think they entered China. My very first time I went to Pacific Mall in Highschool I thought I was back in Asia.

This is quite the reality. People become a #.

Anyone been the ROM? WHY the heck did they destroy the historical building and literally put a diamond on it?! It's become this modernized glass building. =( Super sad. I loved the history of the building.
FUNNY. Read caption: Toronto's favourite game

This is really funny becuase EVERY driver hates bikers and every biker hates drivers..it becomes WAR.
BATTLE for the STREETS

Another kind of war...raccoons always WIN! Theyre like everywhere and you can't get rid of them! It's terrible because you can't leave out garbage the night before garbage day otherwise the raccoons will knock over your green box or rip through your garbage bags with their vicious claws.

I added this to show my boyfriend that Toronto is always near Grenada =) We're just next door!

Finally. This is superbly cute...Fast forward to 2010...hahahah

I hope you enjoyed a compilement of the past few weeks of my life. =)
Enjoy! Lots of pictures have been here!

To top it off: Here are a few of my favourite pictures in my Grenada trip:

My bf and I about to go into the waters =D! BEAUTY

I took a panorama picture with my ipod! =D looks like a postcard eh????

Enjoy~ Happy Smiles
