NETBook FIXED!

Hello, good evening, how is thee audience? =)

I am exhausted. I am going to sleep after this...xd tres tired!!

However before I go into thy dreamland I would like to introduce the events of SATURDAY!!
I am currently writing on my awesome reformated netbook! I've had this netbook about a year? possibly over a year and it had accumulated numerous viruses and had gone through terrible ordeal...it was literally the slowest computer in the world....it became to the point that I couldn't even surf on the internet and basically only used Microsoft Word for school (light capability!)

I turned it in to my friend Robert who had it FOREVER (approx 2 monthes I'd say) and he never really got around to it but then my school was starting so he looked into it and apparently because my netbook is tiny and doesn't have a CD drive he needed something that holds a CD drive and connect to USB or whatever and apparently he COULD put Windows 7 and not Windows XP (which is what my comp came with) but apparently my computer is too tiny and would slow it down cus the files bigger or osmething...im no computer geek...so then he passed it onto my oppa joseph who also does computer stuff..and he took it to his work =D (he teaches doctors how to use technology and does some presentation and meetings about computers - hes also a comp geek!) and BAZAM! he put all the microsoft and files and tweeks and whatever was needed and tadah!!! Here is my awesome better than new super fast netbook im typing wonderously on!!
Awesome!! I <3 this netbook! =D

So anyways...THANKS JO!! =D! I'm super excited to be able to use this netbook again! super speed!...well not like a main computer but fast enough that the typing or pages aren't lagging and taking 5 minutes to load up each page! O.O It was SUPER slow...

Saturday was GARAGE sale day! It was super cold so after saturday I had a slight headache and wasn't feeling too well...I need GOOD sleep tonight cus I'm super tired atm. I shall wake up tomorrow and be rejuvenated! So nothing special but I wore this:
With my awesome camera! So clear that it shows how terribly my mirror is yelling at me to clean it!! xd. sry the picture isn't very flattering =( I was in such a rush in the morning..Actually I was suppose to be there for 8am for setup of garage sale when I woke up and realized "nope...cold..tired..not happening" and fell back asleep HAHAH... -_-;;; As you can see I am also holding Tween's bday gift =D

I apologize...I honestly can't figure out how to rotate the picture :s...anyways this is one of my FAVOURITE sweaters! It's our (me + bf) first matching clothing! I've been begging him to get matching clothes =D (Me = i like cute things like that Harhar) but he was all 'NEBAAAAA" and then one day he was all 'lets get matching sweaters" -_-a? I don't get him. HONESTLY I've been asking him since day1!!! It has a Red Maple lead on the arm (represent Canada!) and the best part is the acronym: YTD and JMS...Guess what it is? I'll tell you at the end of this blog...Here's some clues...Got to do with provinces...Canada...Ontario and Quebec....One is ENglish...one is French...It is on our Car. O.O VERY BIG CLUES!!!!!!

So anyways I wore a hoodie and brought a scarf but i was still cold. =*(. BTW did i even say what the garage sale was for?! Every year my church goes up to a native reserve called Wikwemikong (about a 7hrs north west drive) and we hold a summer camp for children who would like to come. The children can be a bit tough to control but they have such big hearts I am thankful for their attendence. We as a church have been going there about 10 years and this is my 3 year there.

So we hold a garage sale about 2 times in the summer and we sell items to raise funds to go to our missions =). Yesterday we made over $800 which is great because we didn't sell any large items (e.g- furniture)!!

Here is my snag ;)
Honestly I didn't even know what this was until Alison (another member of our church who is so awesome at finding the best treasures) pointed it out. Its a full box of 48 pencils and a bunch of erasers for halloween!! Perfect! I am going to give them out to the kids when they come Trick-or-Treating! Do you celebrate Halloween? Kids dressing up (like the picture on the box) and going from home to home asking for candy with the phrase "Trick or Treat" when the sun goes down? HAHA you will be surprised to hear I went trick or treating until grade 10!!!!! My friends really were into it and they always dragged me along...for the most part no one said you were too old...although a few did HAHAHA...-_-...i WAS too old though..but it was still fun =D I loved it..i think its more fun than going to clubs and bars on halloween. Going with your friends..getting ready and dressing up is the best part and then the walk around the houses...we get closer to each other...

OKAY! So last night i was so tired but i stayed up making Tween's bday card for the church members to sign. Would you like to see?

NEVER again am i doing swirls!!! OMG do you know they become 3D when you peel it off and they are impossible to glue down?!?!?! i just THOUGHT they would look super cute on it -____- reGRET! so I bought the cricut machine this past summer...any of you know what that is? Its this machine much like a printer except that you can set it to cut out letters and shapes and whatever you would like. And boy have I been loving it!! <3 It is superb! I set the blade settings to a smaller one so that it doesn't cut my mat (the paper goes on the mat and it cuts through) and some of the paper didn't quite cut thorough as it normally
would have..so i had to take scissors and gently cut them and for some reason it still took LONG! and by the time i was done i was soooooOOooOOoo uberly tired xd...!!

Lastly before I sleep I would like to post a few pictures of my snorkeling trip in Grenada! I will from time to time randomly post these pictures for thys to see =) I highly recommend snorkeling!! It is one of the greatest experiences one must go through in life!! It's literally like ANOTHER world down there!
Here my flippers there are literally a thousand and one fish! I felt like I was in the aquarium! You know when you go to the aquarium you see all these tropical fish? Theyre so native in Grenada! saw mounds of colourful fish! and the reefs! So many incredible reefs! and I missed it but apparently there were stingrays too! and ...i forget those spiky ball things O.o oh! sea urchines! WOWzers! so incredibly amazing!

The second destination we were taken were the sculpture park! This is one of many incredible sculptures! This particular one is a group of people standing in a circle i believe facing each other. I loved this picture that was captured because of the fish mixture! So incredibly wonderful!

The pictures take especially long to load on this mini netbook SoooOoo two for today =) many more to come here and there!
(p.s - did you figure out what YTD and JMS stood for? Yours to Discover and Je me Souvien...its the license plates on Ontario and Quebec's cars =D!!)

with lots of love~ Happy smiles!

COMplaints of being WEAK

GOOD FRIDAY afternoon peeps =) [I'd say good morning but it's past noon! xd]

I have just completed my yummy brunch...I had a late start today ;) HAHA..It's always a late start of the day when it's gloomy and raining outside...I always feel BLEH and wanna stay and roll around in bed foreverrrrrrr.
This week has been tres interesting =)

Trying to be a little healthy =)...Brunch is served!
EGG, Turkey ham, avec fromage + lettuce on the side on whole grain english muffin
ACKK sry its all jumbled up cus I didn't put enough oil on the pan and everything started sticking :s

Anyways, I've been meaning to discuss Wednesday cus it was a LONG day pour moi~ (je ne sais pas...im in the mood to typing francais -_-;;; ok i'll stop teehee)

So on Wednesday, I was up getting ready to meet up with my Researcher cus she wanted me to prepare some things for her class and was scheduled to meet 11am. It's around 10am and I had just gotten out of the shower and getting ready (my house is less than a half hr bus ride to school =D) when i get a call to push it back to 11:20am...So i'm like alright...i'll take extra long to get ready... any of you have those days when you realize you have longer than expected time to get ready? haha so usually for school I am almost au natural and am not much of a make up girl but i decided to put some mascara and eyeshadow on ;) i've got time...and then you realize that you're actually running late?! HAHAH

So I rush out of the door~~~~ . TOday's giant school event is: York Fest~~
It was such a hectic day I totally missed the opportunity to take pictures as I had planned hence you'll have to recieve pictures from an online source via the school website SORRY!

I've taken a print screen of this ...

So heres the 411 on it: basically its this annual festival that occurs at school. Theres like hundreds of clubs who can advertise and try to recruit frosh + other students. THen we've also got other things come e.g- TD bank, Pizza pizza, South st. burger, Victoria Secret, YRT buses etc. that come and promote their thing. So for example, you've had TD bank come and you do some kind of game (i totally forget the name of it but you play it when your a kid....you get 5 balls and roll it into a target and certain targets get more pts etc. and if you win you can recieve $$, tshirt, lanyard etc.) and then you've got Pizza pizza selling their food for $1 (normally $3ish+tax- although note* last year it was free) and then you've got Victoria Secret and you spin a wheel and win prizes like a stuffed toy or something...so you go around and collect freebies and a bag full of goodies that the school gives. It's this giant event that you have difficulty walking from one location to another becuase of it's sheer crowdedness...

Anyways I get to school and go to the educational library. It's organizational week so the ERC (educational Resource Centre) is apparently closed. I knock (I am now 5 minutes late which is not too bad) and the guy there has no clue that Jackie (my supervisor) has scheduled to come...and now I'm getting confused cus i swear she told me to come here and I am late too...she should be here O.o

10 minutes later...the head librarian steps in Ana and I tell her the situation and she knows that Jackie has scheduled to come in. it is now nearing 11:45am..so i figure i will wait until 12..if she doesn't come i'm gonna leave and i will still log my hours (i need a total of 135 hrs as part of my GAship - Graduate Assistantship FUnding)

Nearing 11:50am..Jackie rushes in and we get to work =) FINALLY! I take a bunch of books, videos, audios and documentary stuff out for her which is a breeze cus I used to basically live in the library ;) Miss. Bookworm nerd!! And finally I'm out the door. Now the location that the books need to be dropped off is curently situations across the campus -_-;;;;;;; and I wanna join that Yorkfeste by 12:30...it usually dies down around 2pm cus they run out of all the freebies. SOOOOoo my supervisor offered to drive me cus my and her destination is close. HAHA

BTW my supervisor aka professor aka researcher has a NICE car...its those sporty Mercedes Benz that is quite cute but sleek. All leather seats and the front end of the seats have been pushed back so it looks almost like a 2 seater...it only has 2 doors..Wow. She must be well-off ;) *I note before I take a seat in her fancy car. Her engine is revves into life and she does a nice but illegal U-turn, tells the construction worker she has to go across (although clearly the construction sign says no entering) by telling him that she's late for a non-existant meeting, then scares a guy half to death by almost running over him (*She noted herself) before stopping in front of our destination..It was....quite a ride.

OK too many words I know!!! So...Here's a glimpse of what I wore for that day. BTW later the back of my shirt was grossly wet. EWWWWWW sweat. It was a HOT sunny day which is interesting cus it was FREEZING last week and I wore a jACKET!!!!!
Simple:
Top: Banana Republic*
Shorts: J.Crew
Necklace: Owl from Ebay ;)
I like this shirt because it has these drawstrings on the side that gives an illusion of a nice body shape =) And cus I'm all lanky I don't have much curve HAAH.
At York you MUST bring a long-sleeve. Any of you going to school know that outside can be 40'c blazing hot and inside can be nearing the singly digits. I found a cardi that covers the frills =) I noticed that the frills didn't look so well with some over them.

I've taken a close-shot of this cus the beads couldn't be seen on my terrible camera phone :s. I shall one day start taking it with my digital cam sry! Note*I usually also wear studs with a long necklace..if i wear any big necklaces I try to keep my ear bare/minimal..otherwise I feel it too powerful and overwhelming..like the jewelrys are fighting each other for attention O.O. I am a terrible person in cold weather...y i live in Canada...anyways So i've packed a pair of lululemon pants in my bag to change for classtime.

So I brought this GIANT lululemon bag to fill my goodies with and filled it entirely...I tried to force myself to drink Coconut water..I heard its a great refresher...I ACTUALLY hate the taste of it..OMGish. THey were handing out of bunch of free coconut water and i know my dad likes em so i took 2 for him and one to drink for me...but ACKKKK...it taste worse the more I drink it...I ended up throwing it out...Is this an acquired taste?!?! I honestly hate it....like to the deep core of detest....

Here is a list of a few free goodies I recieved...I gave some to my daddy..I should have thrown the agendas out...OMG PAPER IS SUPER HEAVY!!!!! I kept it cus it has some important dates I might need to be aware of..but i have TWO

I recieved two clipboards...which are SUPER heavy...I like the mounds of Nivea sample lotions I got =) and the notepads are always useful...a bunch of coupons, pens, bookmarks, got some coconut drinks and a whole lot of bruschetta chips..? They took up a lot of space cus I had about 6 of those...O.o and then some grocery bags..those cloth material ones =)

OKAY It doesn't look big but if you can imagine a HUGE Lululemon bag STUFFED with goodies that is mounds heavy especially with paper+ drinks it's not an easy task to carry that all over school. PLUS this girl was printing our course readings online and you have to do that yourself (no link..search up the articles yourself...just the title is posted) and it takes FOREVEr. and she did it upto end of October and offered to give it to me to save time. =) Yay and since I dind't have a jumpdrive I had to print it all (thank goodness for free printing) and this is what resulted in me carrying:

This is for mid september - end of October readings for ONE CLASS....

Now imagine you're hauling the stuffed giant lululemon bag in one shoulder, carrying a stack of papers on the other hand and carrying a backpack full of ur own notes for tonight's class all across campus...yes it was super difficult. Especially when it's windy and the corners of ur papers are flapping it is NOT an easy task.

That was my day =)

Here I would like to end off by complimenting my bee dot eff.
Here is the proof that he went grocery shopping by himself =)  He definately did not cook when he lived at home (saying that his life was luxurious with his grandma cooking for him every meal) so seeing all these amazing and healthy goodies ready to be cooked is definately worth a compliment!

GOOD JOB BOO! keep studying hard =) good luck on ur upcoming midterms!!! AJA~~

with lots of love~ <3

Cooking my Pasta =D

Good Evening LIFE =D!

Today's day consisted of: doing the dishes/cleaning house, going to buy my friend Tween's bday gift, watching some Kdrama (Faith...story plot MEH but guy hottie!), working on some things for my Researcher and cooking my dinner pasta!

It is currently 6:33pm. The sun is still going strong =D! What can I say! --> the View:

FANTASTIC!

I am currently eating my early dinner as I am creating this awesome blog of mine ;) teehee!
At the same time there are squirrels running around outside my house all day. I swear they've conqered the world of cute little chipmunks!

This is my boyfriend's view outside his dorm. As you can see the sun is definately in the mood to sink....umm but wait! we're still in the same time zone O.o....strange sight! somewhere in there the sun's ought to be there haha. what a BEAUTIFUL sight!! <3 <3 <3. i want to swim -u-.

Today I went shopping for my friend Tween's bday =) I honestly did not know what to get her so I went to her favourite store that she basically gets almost all her stuff from. O.O don't judge: WALMART! any of you people shopped at walmart? I didn't know what to get her but she's recently been sporting a cartoon/comic character clothing. So I've seen her wear elmo's pink tank top and a superman tshirt. So the only thing I saw was cookie monster's blue hoodie! It has these funky spikes on it but I think that's her style so =). Here's my awesome wrapping paper!! <3 <3
eh eh eh? You love it too don't you?! It's one of my favourite ones! It has this exotic indian feel to it. is that weird O.o? LOL

So Anyways I hope she likes it. It's definately her style...although it is a bit thin...but I guess it's perfect for weather atm. =)

OKAY! Before I finish off today, I would like to mention my awesome pasta cooking skills ;)

  • Today's pasta consisted of the following ingredients ;D! (Sorry can't figure out how to erase the dotjot at the top LOL! -_-)
  • Marinara Sauce! (from President's choice --> tastes close to tomato though)
  • Garlic (minced very small)
  • Onions (chopped)
  • Ground beef (I chunked them, although you can separate them to make meat sauce instead)
  • Mushrooms (just sliced)
  • Carrots (Note* they take longer to cook than other vegetables)
  • Zucchini (sliced)
  • Corn (I used frozen)
  • And of course: PAStA! --> I used two thinking I didn't have enough (Ribbons and Spiral)
To season with:
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Sugar
  • BARON West Indian Hot Sauce (not sure if you can get it in Canada)
  • Italian Seasoning (Majoram, thyme, rosemary, savoury, sage, oregano, sweet basil)
  • Crushed Red Pepper
  • La Grille's Dried Vegetables
  • Olive oil
I like testing and mixing ingredients and seasoning to see how they turn out =)
Here are the pictures incase you don't know =)
Crushed Red Pepper: I am kind of a spicy person and sprinkle this on pizza too
Italian Seasoning: One of my fav's to use -->has all the essentials ingredients as listed above

Sea Salt & Ground Pepper: I use this on the meat when I am cooking it to destroy the meaty smell (I have a sensitive nose)
Baron's hot sauce + Sugar: Is a great combination because I enjoy the taste of sweet and spicy and you can get it at the same time! The Baron hot sauce I bought in Grenada and it's the kind of spicy that when you eat it seems ok and a moment later it get's you...it REALLY get's you. you only need a dollop of it =).
Vegetable seasoning: I actually put this on first forgetting I had the Italian Seasoning. But it still tastes good =)

Here's the general procedure in which I went about with this
*Note: NOt a professional. I just made this up...so I don't if there is a 'correct' procedure so don't yell at me for this!'

-I started by boiling my pot of water. I always boil first because Cooking the noodles always take the longest (since boiling point takes a while)
-Next, olive oil first, I minced my garlic and mix it with corn (cus it was frozen - if it wasn't i wouldn't put this in first) and meat (cus I always cook meat first) and carrots (since they take the longest in vegetable cooking) *Note: while the meat was still soft I chopped the ground beef in chunks cus I wanted the end product to be chunky meat almost like meatballs. I added salt and pepper
-Then as it is cooking I chopped up all the vegetables and put it in a bowl with all the seasoning on top of it (minus sugar and hot sauce...I don't know, I don't liek my vegetables directly sugary and spicy)
-WHen teh water boils, you can put the pasta in and don't forget to occassionally stir!
-When the meat is all cooked, I threw in all my other prepared vegetables
-Just before my vegetables are cooked, I added in the sauce along with hot sauce and sugar =)
-Tasting it and add a dash of whatever is need according to your taste buds =p
-Once pasta is all cooked, I added it to the sauce and mix and enjoy!!
Here is the final product!
Here is from the pan after I ate my portion. I must've made more than I meant to HAHA

This is my Bowl full =D. You can even sprinkle some parmeasan or melt some cheddar cheese on it if you want =)
THis is my last picture to show you a close-up of the chunks of meat and the two styles of pasta I used!

LOoks yum doesn't it ;)!
Enjoy!

Back to doing my researcher's work =( Boo. I worked on it for half an hr earlier and I got really tired of it. HAHA basically I have to take my researcher's paper and change all the embedded citations and bibliography from APA style to some random Australian style =(. quite tedious work -_-....

Tomorrow I really was looking forward for some freebies at Yorkfest but it seems like the major portion of it will have ot be missed. SHe's making me work with her at the library at a crucial time when everything opens =*( Booerns. I hope I can still recieve my York goodie bag! xd. Talk to you later!! <3 <3

Happy Smiles signing off~

my date with STUDY

Gmorning LIFE =)

Late morning...I have just finished eating breakfast and the mode of 'waking up' ;)

I've recently downloaded this app called SONGZA on itunes..anyone heard of it? :s
I didn't have time to try the app out until this morning but it's actually cool. It configures with the real-life time and then gives you different options for what you're doing atm. for example, Monday late morning (provides time) then states options you can choose on the concierge :
Here's printscreen

Once you've listened to it you can choose the style of music too! It's pretty neat...the only con is that you need internet and since i have an ipod i can't take it outside void wifi =(

ANYWAYS why has last couple of days been COLD?????? I woke up and it's still oh-so-cold-weather!
=( waiting for the Indian summer which means that fall is officially HERE!!
yesterday I even wore a jacket...although still slightly thin it's STILL cold enough =(
It's still super cold atm and its almost 11am!! definately not a shorts and tank weather :s I didn't even get to wear all my dresses! POO

Current Toronto weather!!

oh it makes me sad knowing summer flew by wayy tooo fast!

REFLECTION: I still had an awesome and unforgettable summer =)
...did many things this summer with the main things of taking an AQ (additional Qualifications) course in Kindergarten ;) and going to Grenada oh! and my missions trip to Wikwimekong Native Reserve where we held a summer camp for the kids =D!

Yesterday I went to tutor in the morning =). Been couple weeks since I saw her! I tutor a child who has a condition that is developmentally delayed. So physically and mentally she is a bit behind in where her age of kids should be developing. So when I go, I teacher her the basics of fine and gross motor skills, simple maths (we've picked up fractions again!), computer skills and some Language skills. =) She's such a sweet kid and I swear I've totally been blessed with this job!

After I went for some soul-filling where we learned about 'blessed are those whose spirit is weak'. It was a good sermon. For some more information and reflections upon certain sermons link to:
newheartchurch.ca

OH! I forgot to show you my outfit of the day!!

See originally I just wore this!
Sweater: GAP
Tank: United Benetton (sp?)
Tights: GAP
Navy Socks: GAP
Shoes: Random brand called "Modern Vintage" anyone heard of it?

OMGish it looks like I whore GAP xd! It's not my fault! I used to work there!
Then after I took this picture, i noticed that something was missing so i added a pocketwatch necklace for a last touch ;) [shown in the next pic]
It's my awesome owl necklace that my super sweet boyfriend got for me.
Actually he got me two cus the first one, the latch broke and wouldn't close properly so he got me another one =D! What can i say! My boyfriend treats me well!

But then i went outside and it was COOOOLLLLDDDD in the morning...it was the latter 8amish. so i went and threw this on =D. I put up 2 pics cus the other one seemed more clear. -_-. I need to take the time and take pictures with my camera instead. phone/ipod cameras don't have the best pictures :s

I swear it was sweltering hot last week =(. I wore a super thin dress! HUY.....the good thing with fall is that we can layer up! I like mix and matching clothes. My style? I usually wear tights, corduroys (when it's super cold), or yoga pants. I'm not one to wear jeans much....very rare occassions. THey're just NOT comfy! THey need to be comfy and flexible! Especially cus I'm a cross-leg sitter. ANy of you out there? I try to get as comfy as possible and I usually end up crossing my legs no matter where I am O.o. is that rude?....LOL no one has yet been brave to say anything so...

The best thing about fall is my shoes...or should i say BOOTS! I have this subconsciousness of buying boots. I've got about a dozen or more boots =) and it totally goes with tights which is perfect!

ANyways, enough talk about what bores you...LOL getting carried away with my fashion-fanaticness.

Last couple of days, I've been hooked on this show called MAYDAY on discoverychannel online. I love documentaries for the most bit. WHen people reserach their findings and show step by step the process in which history occurred (hence was contemplating in being a history major) anyways this is about difference incidences in which planes had Maydays....whether it is in the failure of engine, colliding with something, on the runway etc. It shows how the investigators pieced together a puzzle of what caused the incident. =) I really enjoy it when they interview people who were actually in the moment. I even watched a recent one that occurred in 2009 when the Boeing airplane landed on the Hudson river in January...anyone remember that incident? I rmb seeing it all over the news. That was really cool, seeing the investigators break apart and study something I rmb seeing on the news =D!!
Under search colum type: Mayday and select videos =D!
FULL CLIPS!

OK so today is my STUDY day!!! I've been mad procrastinating watching MAYDAY so I definately need to study. My researcher has sent me some stuff to transcribe =(. SHe said she'd send it last friday but she ended up sending it late night on Saturday and SUnday was a busy day! So I'm planning to do all my readings today and tomorrow, then do my research on wednesday. I hope she doesn't get upset that i didn't do it...I'm meeting her on wednesday too....

OK a mad load of reading to do!! O.O It's ok though...my boyfriend is studying for his upcoming midterm exam so I guess it's a lot easier than that. He's being a studying fanatic right now.. soooo... i better keep myself busy!

Happy smiles~ WIsh me luck with my readings!! <3 <3

My Jenn's Burfday

I hope I'm doing this correctly. THis BLOG thing is quite confusing...or I must be techno-handicapped :s.

Today was my good friend Jennifer's birthday! and it so happens she chose SUSHI168.
I went with my family once when it first opened up and it wasnt the best experience. My parents didn't like it so much cus you get a piece of paper and order what you want. THey like to SEE what hte food looks like HAHA. but i enjoy it cus then its all fresh!!

I go at 1pm and it so happens that everyone was going to be late BUT she forgot to remind me that the time got pushed back! JENNNNNIFERRRRR!!!!!

I forgave her cus it was her actual birthday! TSK TSK! Good thing there was Value Village next door to occupy me. I always hear people get such great deals from there but i have still yet to find a great deal!

She must've rushed from the library when i texted her and she got there 1:38! tsk tsk!!!

--> FYI I met this girl 2 years ago at Placement. We were both placed at Gateway Public School and somehow befriended each other =). THat school is HUGE. She has similar goofy and giggly personality as me so i think we must've clicked. LOL.

ANYHOO- this is my outfit of the day!
Sorry it's sideways, This Blog thing is complicated! I cut off my face in case any of you want to steal my identity (SUPER paranoia attack!!!)
-My awesome shorts that I wear with EVERYTHING is from J.Crew
-My Top/supershort dress is from a brand in America (sry! no Canadian stores) is called Papaya <--I love this store even though it reminds me of Urban behaviour
-My awesome cardigan I stole from my mom's closet is from Banana Republic ;)

SO.....we start ordering around 2 (We're such losers, we ticked off all the food we wanted from the list but totally forgot to give it to them cus we were lost in our conversations!!!)

and then other people started showing up and oh man we ate for SOOOO long and then we talked for even LONGERRRRRR...hence I got back home almost 6:30pm!!! (I should've gave them more tip...but i didn't feel so bad cus the place wasn't that busy!)

And the best part was because it was her birthday LOOK AT WHAT SHE GOT!!!

The conversation went like this:
Question: "Sir is there a cake that you can bring out for her?"
Response: "Don't worry. We'll bring her Something..."
(*we look at each other...SOMETHING?..what does that mean?!)
but this is awesome. suddenly the speakers that play music in the restaurant went dead adn a HUGE loud noise of clapping then the hbd song came on.

we got to try ....get this....deep fried ICECREAM! (*with fudge sauce inside)!!!!!!!

How awesome =D! =D! This is why i love asian places! they think up of the most craziest food ideas! i love it x a thousand.

Twas a good day overall....

We also discussed my favourite topic in the world because Jenn's friends are HP obsessed!!
I told them last december I went to Florida and oh so awesome it was! As i was telling them my memories....pictures flashed back etc.
Here are some awesome memories I've had~ I can't post a lot of them because I haven't figured out how to post multiple pictures at the same time...and the loading is WAY too slow~!!

This was my favourite place in the world. THey had the best of all bests! Inside I wish I took my camera and took pictures!THe castle was super awesome and had Herbology classroom like inside a greenhouse, they show the Fat Lady moving within her portrait (although I did imagine her to be bigger), the Sorting Hat was there, and hundreds of people inside the frames were moving as they pleased (I suspect digital). And the ride was even better! Its like 4D movie + rollercoaster put together. It was so awesome I want to go back again =D!
This is super awesome. The best but they know everyone wants one so they rip you off. i think it was like $10 or something for a cup....a plastic cup....:s But i still overindulged on it!! You can choose whether you want it liquid or slushie. TRUST me...choose slushi style! and on top they put this sweet cream that's to DIE for!!! I loved it. I also bought Hermonie's wand which was superbly overpriced...i paid about $30+tax but i was still a jolly little girl in HP land of magic!

This beach is also superbly famous and not even the Barbados sand was as white as this! The sand is super find and soft I loved it (although because it was so fine the walking wasnt as cushined HAHA). I went in mid-end december and the waters were SUPER fine! Good to swim in becuase it was the Gulf of Mexico (southern waters coming up) I wish I spent more time there but nevertheless loved it!
Here's a random LINK that i found for Siesta Beach if you've never heard of it:

Here's the WIkipedia info: Siesta Beach (sometimes known as Siesta Key Beach) is a beach located on Siesta KeyFloridaUnited States. The sand is 99% pure quartz, soft and cool on the feet

I highly recommend this beach. one of the most beautiful beaches. =) and the waters warm in winter!

HAHAAH. he looks liek a giant rat. but he's actually an anbino kangaroo that we saw in the midst of about a hundred kangaroos. We visited this awesome place called 'Busch Gardens" and its basically Canada's Wonderland + African Lion Safari =D. It's great and they also have trains and gondolas that take you around.

This is one of the reasons I wanted to go to Florida land of oranges. I recieved an issue of National Geographics which featured two girls kayaking amongst some wild manatees. We drove about 2 hrs off Orlando to see these wild guys! Apparently when the "winter" comes, the waters get cold and these guy swim up to Florida for warmth. It was definately worth seeing them. I was super lucky and happy to spot them up close =D. I ended up buying those pay $1 recieve a penny with picture of manatee machine cus the manatees themselves aren't very pretty. They are really calm creatures. I'd loved to see them again!

Lastly! I watched about a dozen shows at Seaworld. I have heard bad things about how the marine life is treated there. Nevertheless I absolutely positively LOVED every moment of it! I even paid a swimmer to get a shell for me and inside was a pearl. one day i'll go again and do it and make earrings out of them =). It was definately an unforgettable experience and I want to go back again!!

Happy Smiles~

Beginnings of BLOG

This is my life. =)

I am currently a master's student here in Toronto, CANADA.
I finished my undergrad in Sociology with Honours and completed my Teacher's college at the same time (concurrently).

Toronto is definately a difficult place to get a teaching job. and here i am failing to get a job even with credentials. xp

My lovely boyfriend is away in Grenada studying for Medicine so here I am blogging my thoughts so that i don't have to bombard him ;)

I visited the Caribbean waters end of AUgust to drop him off and my dear, were the waters crystal clear! I shall post pictures up! Perhaps I'll do a mini review on Grenada as there weren't very many...

To sum it up...i LOVED Grenada. Perhaps because this is the my first trip to a Caribbean island. It goes side by side with my thumbs up review of when i visited Florida last December. I shall have to post those pictures up as well...(*note to self).

This is where the roots in creating my blog starts.

Here are a few of pictures of my lovely trip =) Happy Smiles

This is Annandale Falls. We visited there and a lot of people were washing up. THey'd just bring a bar of soap and start washing themselves. The waters are very cold and on the way back the locals would take a chain and block of the road and ask for money. O.o It was quite a sight. THere was also another local at the falls doing diving and such and asked for money if we took pictures etc. The fall was really nice (i doubt the cleanest though) but nevertheless an amazing sight to visit.

Grand ANse Beach at Grenada. One of the most famous beaches in the world. We went there during rainy season (end of August) but the greatest thing was I never once used an umbrella! It basically rained everyday but it just so happens that it rained at night when we were all sleeping! ANd by morning it was clear skies again! The waters super salty and if it goes in your nose it stings HAHA.

This is me on our snorkeling trip. I'm not the best swimmer but the good thing is they provide snorkeling jackets. they inflate at the front and around your neck. It just so happens that of everyone's gear, my goggles were faulty and water seeped in. I started hyperventilating when he told me that my goggles were broken (i'm such a nerd) and the captain switched goggles with me and made me do some slow breathing before I waddled away. There is an abundant of sealife there and I would love to buy some snorkeling gear myself and do it everyday!

BEAUTIFUL skies!
